Palace and Man United agree fee for the player, believed to be around 50 million pounds. Add ons unknown.

Personal terms already agreed it seems.

I know it is only talk but it was reported 10 days ago that player terms had been agreed and it was just a fee that was to be agreed. As we know a medical can be ordered without a fee agreed as we've done the same for players we've not ended up buying.

This has been on the cards for weeks and the fact Parish and the player have stayed quiet spoke volumes. People on Twitter and Facebook still think it's paper talk.

Next question is will Wilf go? We can't need to sell but if I were him I'd be pretty pissed off and see no reason to stay but he might know who we're trying to sign to placate him.

I don't get why we're being linked to the Liverpool reserve keeper for £8m. If we spend that money on a keeper he won't be on the bench and I can't see Guaita wanting to be on the bench either.

It's a strange one all right.  Maybe guaita or Hennessey wants away.

According to that well known Oracle of football, North Wales live, wan Bissaka is now wanker Bissaka.

I can't see either the Liverpool keeper or Guaita being happy to be 2nd choice. Hennessey would just be happy to have a job.

Big Grin

Maybe those two would compete for the number 1 spot, and we will sell or loan Wayne.  I don't think he's that bad as a keeper but we should aim as high as possible.

In other news/rumours, Salako hints at Paris destination for Wilf.

So, Zaha has "begged" to be allowed to join Arsenal according to Sky and Daily Mail

And Levi Lumenka is left to join a 2nd division club in Portugal.

Can't blame him really.  He's shown good loyalty.  We will of course struggle badly without him.

Bissaka confirmed as a wanker meanwhile.

Do we think we're going to have a stroppy and unhappy Wilf on our hands?

I think we might do if he's decided to move on.  Selling the crown jewels seems very risky to me, but let's see.

NEWCASTLE AND CRYSTAL PALACE REGISTER INTEREST IN SIGNING 2-GOAL STRIKER AHEAD OF NEW SEASON
Newcastle, Watford, Bournemouth and Crystal Palace have all made enquiries to sign Huddersfield forward, Steve Mounie according to TEAMtalk.
The 24-year-old made 31 league appearances for the Terriers last season, but was unable to stop them from being relegated back into the Championship after a brief spell in the Premier League.
He only scored twice in the top-flight, which will raise questions as to whether he is good enough to play in the Premier League next season.
The report also revealed that Huddersfield have received interest from clubs in France and Germany, but it remains to be seen as to whether the Terriers are ready to listen to offers for the Benin international.
It’s highly unlikely that a decision will be made on Mounie’s future at Huddersfield though, with the striker currently playing in the African Cup of Nations.
They’ll be looking to get as much as they can for the striker if they are willing to sell him though, as he arrived for a fee in the region of £12m from Montpellier back in 2017 which was a club-record fee at the time.
But given that Huddersfield are now back in the Championship, they could be tempted to cash in on some of their players as they look to rebuild ahead of the new season which gets underway in August.
The Verdict:
He’s got a point to prove in the Premier League in my opinion.
Mounie only scored twice in the top-flight which will be a concern for potential suitors, but you have to bare in mind that it was with a Huddersfield side that struggled for the majority of last year’s campaign as they were relegated from the top-flight.

[*]

It’ll be interesting to see if their interest in signing him results in a formal bid, as Huddersfield could be tempted to cash in on him to strengthen other areas of their squad.
