Is this click bait bollocks or genuine news?

According to some 'news' outlets, Wilf has been the subject of interest every summer.
Goodbye European Union. Goodbye Jeremy. Goodbye Nick. Jerk-It Goodbye Comrades.

The trouble with these long term deals is that inflation eats into the amount. 3% or whatever it is, is quite a bit over 7 years.
They should offer a player swap, Abamyang and Lacazette. (yeah I know spelling).

They should at least leave 3 days after the footy season before starting silly season.

Very good.

Everyone suddenly loves Champions League football when they want a pay rise.

We are third in points total over the last 15 games, so any sort of ambition this summer and you never know.

Well I know we won't show any but you take my point.

No one pays up front. The structure of payments is always spread over the length of the contract, so for them to pay over 7 years means they would be offering Wilf a 7 yr contract.

We could get more than that loaning him out for a 15 million loan fee each season.  That would be quite comical, we could basically decide the title race each season.

Although obviously I would prefer that we kept him and went for it ourselves with VAR to assist/prevent the bent refs from cheating us from rightful penalties.

Indeed, not sure if we've finished paying for Benteke.

It will happen one day, but the thought of Wilf leaving is shits me up.

We know it’s coming sometime but we are mentally prepared for it, unlike the Ian Wright transfer that felt like a dagger to the heart.
