I’ve been watching goldenballs with jasper carrot if anyone remembers it?
Quite brutal and cruel endings make for great tv I suppose but I always want them to split.
It’s on challenge tv I think.

Sopranos, breaking bad and house of cards are all brilliant Imo.

I used to watch Golden Balls...Mr Carrott was good.

Now a quick question...Wallander...which version do people like? I like the Kenneth Brannagh one compared to the original

Started watching Departure on Universal Channel, watched two episodes and so far looks okish......I wonder if the Malaysian airline crash was the inspiration

As a Trekkie, I am quite exited by this, especially after the very disappointing Star Trek Discovery.
Goodbye European Union. Goodbye Jeremy. Goodbye Nick. Jerk-It

Brilliant show.
Halfway through season 6 now.  Vito has just been caught in a gay bar.  It's funny watching the reactions.  Bit gutted it's nearly over.  Can't believe the incompetence of the police though.  They literally get away with murder all the time.

For WW2 Buffs - the film 'The Kings Choice' is currently on I-player.

It's about the Nazi invasion of Norway from a Norwegian perspective in 1940 and well recommended.

And if I don't want to?
Or more to the point, I don't get BBC 2, so I wont.

Tarkovsky films with the eldest over the weekend. Heavy going, great cinematography and quite deep.
Eyes fucked by the subtitles though .

Watched the first episode of Watchmen last week. Different to the graphic novel but ok so far.

Sat in the hospital watching Question of Sport. I think the last time I saw it, Willie Carson was a captain.
I wouldn't recommend it, but didn't want to start a new thread.
