Scary WW2 Fonts

Does anyone know what font the nazis used everywhere in world war 2?  Bit of a niche thread i suspect.  Its in this picture.

Cheers, fraktur eh.  Even the bloody name is scary.

Ta mate.  I'm not thinking of introducing it by the way Smile  Just wondered what it is about it that inspires fear.

Heavy, black spiky letters that are hard to read - it just looks aggressive. You can't read it without thinking that the person who wrote it was SHOUTING VERY LOUD as they were writing...

Yeah, I think the hard to read bit was purposeful as well.  Something about needing to be German to read it, or something.
