Some of the precautions seem like ridiculous overkill if you ask me.  Parking 2 metres apart ffs?  These people are so fit the chances of one of them dying must be ridiculously small.

Ah ha! So lockdown and social distancing is ridiculous when it’s a barrier for a return of football, but Boris et al are murders for not caging us all up as soon as someone sneezed in Wuhan?

Gotcha.

Eh?  All I'm saying is that young fit athletes cars don't need social distancing measures attached to them.  Especially when the players have far higher chances of catching it in the unsegregated supermarket after training.

You can’t see the contradiction?

No, because there isn't one.  The government had one job, prevent the virus from spreading everywhere with an early, hard lockdown to stop it spreading and killing the vulnerable.  They failed, as many expected.  Rolled out the red carpet to it. Tens of thousands died as a result and are still dying.  But I don't see how fit footballers cars need to be socially distanced.  Cars don't carry the virus do they.
