Turkey is obviously the go-to place for shampoo, hair transplants and for all I know, wigs. As if the sunshine, great food, hospitable welcome wasn't enough.....

A small point, five million is the number in Lebanon and Turkey together. But 3.5 million in Turkey with a population of 82 million is less of a strain than 2.2 million in Lebanon with a population of 6 million.

This is true.  I bet neither place has half the brain dead xenophobia we have in the UK either.

Great read. The photos remind me of one of my favourite news stories.

That's a great read Turkish.  No mention of shampoo though I notice.  Like you, I am finding the world of promoting yourself on social media a bit daunting.  I even toyed with the idea of buying some laminating pouches, permanent pens, and bodge tape in poundland and sticking some Palace comrades.com flyers up around the ground.  But then I thought it would look a bit naff and abandoned the idea Big Grin  Might pay some graffiti kids in spray paint if they will tag it around the area in exchange.  Pretty sure I saw a job lot of spray paint on eBay.

Turkish shampoo is worthy of a 1,000 words in its own right, the research is nothing short of riveting...

You could have had fun with that couple.  Slap one when the other isn't looking.

No mention of any shampoo runs I notice.  Too busy swanning round Naples.

I'm tempted to remember your advice if they're on the return flight..

I don't think they will be.  They only sell it in Turkey.

Yes, disappointing news about the shampoo again Mehmet.  However it was still an interesting read nonetheless.  Which is the nearest Italian airport to Pompeii?  That sounds like a very interesting place.

Not as interesting as the shampoo mule running city of Famagusta though.

Naples is the nearest. The ruins are about 45 minutes by train.
