Roxanne by the police is awesome as a drinking game. Split into two teams, 1st team takes a mouthful of beer when Roxanne is sung, second team when “red light” is sung. It’s fucking hilarious as it gets faster and faster. You get smashed too lol

I wouldn't know where to start. My tastes are too varied.

I could say that the first records I ever bought were:

Do You Wanna Touch, Gary Glitter.
Blockbuster, Sweet.
Cum On Feel The Noize, Slade.
Roll Over Beethoven, ELO.
Rubber Bullets, 10cc.

They all still sound great nearly 50 years later.
Goodbye European Union. Goodbye Jeremy.

That makes you about 50 then.

Parallel Lines at 24/192 Hi Res sounds pretty good. A classic album. Hanging on the Telephone is pop gold, albeit a cover.

I'm really not so sure.

I gave up my record deck several years ago but have some digitised vinyl in my collection and I have to say that the results are very mixed. Vinyl lacks punch and then you have the crackles, but certainly, some CD quality music is poorly transferred. A lot depends on what DAC you are using and the equaliser settings etc.

Given that practical advantages of digital music over playing vinyl records, I'd go digital all day. Especially hi res' stuff. That is usually far better than standard CD to my ears.
Goodbye European Union. Goodbye Jeremy.

Teardrop is great too.
I also love Hymn of the Big Wheel, although I know others think it a bit naff.

Although I am a fan and have seen them live a couple of times, I am still a bit surprised to see Inspiral Carpets appear in two separate lists already.
